In this release:

New & Improved Features

Fixity check automation

  • A full process for automated fixity reports has been built out, including automatic dispatching of fixity report emails and processes for quickly identifying and fixing files for failed fixity reports.

Checksums

  • Updates have been made to the checksum workflow at deposit to ensure client-side checksumming at deposit. The frontend implementation computes and parameterizes deposits for easy cross-checking with manifests.

User types

  • A new user type, “read only,” has been configured to allow some users to view collections, the dashboard, and reports– but not create collections and folders or deposit content.

Deleting collections

  • Users with the ability to create collections can now delete already-created collections.

UI improvements

  • Improvements have been made to the statistics card on the Dashboard page to more clearly reflect the number of locations per collection.
  • A few other text and label changes were also made across the Dashboard.
